GE Money and Merillat Cabinetry Brand Install New Consumer Financing Program
KETTERING, Ohio — GE Money and Masco Builder Cabinet Group (MBCG) announced today a new multi-year relationship to provide financing to homeowners purchasing MBCG’s Merillat brand of cabinetry.
The program is being offered through GE Money’s Sales Finance unit and includes two financing options: GE Money’s PROJECTLINESM PLUS program, which provides revolving credit terms; and the PROJECTLOANSM program, which offers homeowners an installment loan financing option.
“Choosing the right cabinetry for your home can be daunting,” said Nick Ritota, manager of Merillat Masterpiece business development for the Merillat brand. “Offering an easy financing solution simplifies the payment process, so our customers can spend their time and selecting cabinetry and creating a design layout that will add beauty and organization to their homes.”
Both programs, which offer simple paperwork, competitive rates and promotions, as well as no prepayment penalties, are available through Merillat’s nationwide network of professional kitchen and bath dealers. Consumers can also apply for financing at www.merillat.com. Either program can be used to purchase from any of the cabinetry lines offered by Merillat cabinetry.
When selecting cabinets, Ritota recommends homeowners work with a professional who can answer questions and offer ideas about finding the right solutions for individual needs and styles. Additional tips include balancing design with functionality and doing research on the many styles available to achieve the perfect layout design suitable for individual tastes and preferences.
“Merillat offers superior products that let homeowners create convenient, stylish storage solutions,” said Bruce Christensen, vice president and general manager, Home Improvement industry, GE Money – Sales Finance. “Now homeowners can take advantage of the new Merillat credit program to finance their home improvement projects easily and conveniently.”
