Scott & White Healthcare Selects GE Centricity Business
 

Largest multi-specialty practice in Texas supports double-digit growth strategy with market-leading solutions

Barrington, IL, January 23, 2009 – GE Healthcare IT, a leading provider of healthcare information technology, today announced that core solutions in the Centricity® Business suite have been chosen by Scott & White Healthcare (Temple, Texas). Following a careful selection process, Scott & White expanded their existing relationship with GE Healthcare, and will implement the Centricity Business Patient Access, Physician Revenue Cycle Management and Business Intelligence solutions across their enterprise to support their focus on patient satisfaction and customer service, patient access, clinical integration, productivity, and revenue cycle operations.

GE Healthcare’s Centricity Business portfolio is installed at a majority of the academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks in the U.S. The powerful suite of solutions will provide Scott & White with flexible, workflow-focused tools to manage cash flow, improve patient satisfaction, and quickly access performance data across the enterprise. The Centricity Business platform will enable connectivity across many applications within Scott & White, including its’ electronic medical record (EMR), the GE Centricity Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), and various clinical care applications.
