The full range of Advisor Advanced intrusion control panels and accessories meets customers’ needs in an efficient and economic manner
Brussels – October 27, 2009 – GE Security, Inc., a business of GE Enterprise Solutions (NYSE: GE), today announced the introduction of its new Advisor Advanced range of control panels, offering the best, most robust features from two established ranges and extending its coverage to meet the needs for both residential and commercial intrusion applications in one offering. The Advisor Advanced platform is a progressive product line, which maintains compatibility with the existing Advisor Master product accessories. It is user friendly and addresses both installers’ and end users’ needs in a cost-effective manner.
New features, result in increased efficiency for installers, such as auto hardware enrollment, a start-up wizard and an onboard USB connection. Additionally, the use of high level programming languages improves system integrity and scalability of the family suite. The Advisor Advanced’s modular panel is cost effective, allowing easy plug-on input and output expanders.
The Advisor Advanced product line is the latest offspring from the Advisor CD and Advisor Master product ranges. It inherits the best from both product lines: well-known functions and features combined into a new, future-friendly platform. Fully compatible with a selected range of existing ATS Advisor Master accessories (keypads, readers, expanders), this product delivers reliability and a multitude of options to tailor the system configuration to the application needs. The Advisor Advanced meets EN50131 Grade 2 requirements. Out-of the box, it provides up to 32 or 64 zones, depending on the model. All zones can be wired, wireless or a combination.
“Our Advisor Advanced family is becoming the standard in the security industry as its technology provides enhanced security, ease of use for installers and end users and convenient features,” said Bart Otten, President GE Security EMEA.
The Advisor Advanced system uses the latest components to maximise the system’s integrity, which includes LCD keypads, available with or without reader technology. Alarm reporting, which is an essential function of a dependable intrusion system, uses a variety of methods including PSTN, voice reporting, ISDN and GSM. Systems based on the Advisor Advanced panel are remotely programmable using the new Titan 2 software, which now has an entirely new programming module offering greater ease-of-use and more intuitive operation. Additional benefits include: a simplified user menu offering enhanced user experience and multi-lingual user support.
The Advisor Advanced product line is available in the following countries and in their respective languages: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy. More country and language rollouts are planned for the coming months.
